FiberSpace is located in downtown Sterling, Colorado, in the renovated Benge Building. Built in 1926 in the 20th Century Functional style, it housed Louis Benge's General Blacksmithing business. The 14' embossed tin ceiling is virtually unaltered. It has been home to FiberSpace for over eleven years.

The Gallery features watercolors, raku pottery, baskets, beadwork, handwovens and garments by local artists, our instructors and staff. The shop offers an assortment of products for knitting, weaving, beadwork, spinning, and crochet. Click here to see a partial list of the products that we carry.

Shop Hours:
Monday-Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.,
Saturdays 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Calling All "Stitchers"
"Stitchers" and fiber artists are invited to help make this a "COZY CHRISTMAS" in Downtown Sterling. Create a "tree cozy" for one of the trees along Main Street and be eligible for fabulous prizes - not to mention fame! Individuals, teams and families are invited. Entries can be seasonal or relate to the nearby businesses. "Stitchers" includes those who knit, crochet, quilt, weave, braid or otherwise manipulate fiber or fabric. Hurry and reserve your tree now!

Entries will be voted on by the general public during the Tumbleweed Holiday Ramble. Stop by FiberSpace to see examples of cozies created by stitchers in Columbus, Indiana, earlier this year.

Our sock Generals demonstrated various techniques (toe-up, sock-within-a-sock, socks on circulars, Magic Loop, and more) to the amazement of the recruits. The hot pink camp shirts were the most desirable raffle item (see photo below). We had a rockin' good time and everyone wanted to know when the next special event would be! Here's a peek:
